Annual Giving Opportunities
Ongoing Support of OKC
The foundation of our meaningful work is supported by Annual Giving Campaigns. There are three options for providing on-going support of OKC:
Giving Circles - offers an annual giving option for donors that can consider significant gifts. There are multiple levels that include both support of the Kol Nidre Appeal and each year’s Special Events programming. Details are available HERE. To join, please contact Rise Ain or Gilda Zimmet at GivingCircles@OhrKodesh.org.
Annual Giving Campaign - allows individuals to make an annual gift to support the ongoing work of Ohr Kodesh. Most pledges are made during the High Holiday season. Contribute to the annual campaign HERE. For more information, contact Rise Ain or Gilda Zimmet.
Mishloach Manot - Tzedakah and gifts of food are hallmarks of the celebration of Purim. Increase the joy of the holiday with Ohr Kodesh's Mishloach Manot project which sends illustrated greetings to OKC members, staff and friends. In addition to supporting the synagogue, a portion of the proceeds also go to the OKC USY Tikkun Olam program and MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger. For more information, please contact Monica Saff, Executive Director.

Thursday, Dec 14th 8:00pm to 10:00pm
This event is inspired by the North African Chag HaBanot tradition, which takes place on Rosh Chodesh Tevet. Yael Freimann will share about her experiences observing Chag Habanot with her family, and Rabbi Batya will lead the group in studying the story of Judith, one of the great female heroes in Jewish history. Finally, we will eat and drink delicious wine in Judith’s honor.
