Our Building
Ohr Kodesh Congregation is conveniently located along East-West Highway, mid-way between Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue, overlooking Ray Meadows Park.
During regular times, our building and grounds are home to a wide array of events, simchas, and activities. When conditions permit, we welcome the opportunity to host your event and have a variety of spaces that can serve as a venue for celebrations such as baby namings and brit milot, b'nai mitzvah receptions, birthday parties, and weddings. We can also accommodate private Shabbat dinners, concerts, lectures, professional conferences, and more.
For information about space availability and to arrange for a personalized tour of our building and grounds, please contact facility@ohrkodesh.org.

Composting at OKC
Composting, also known as food scraps recycling, is the process of breaking down organic materials into a nutrient-rich soil. You may dispose of food scraps in the green bins around our facility.
We have transitioned to compostable plates, bowls, and utensils, with the exception of the small plastic cups on the scotch table. If you have questions about whether or not something is compostable, please refer HERE from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
If you would like to help guide congregants during Kiddush, sign up to be a Schmutzbuster HERE.
