As the cultural institution responsible for collecting and preserving the historical record of Jewish civilization, the Library holds the collective memory of the Jewish people worldwide—bridging the past to our present day lives. As part of this mission, NLI has been at the forefront of documenting October 7th and its aftermath. Hear from Adina Kanefield, CEO of the Library's US affiliate, about the sacred duty of memory and how it is being carried out through the Bearing Witness project of The National Library of Israel.
