The Ohr Kodesh Community welcomes Jonathan Liss from 3G DC to share his family's story. The grandchildren of Holocaust survivors, 3GDC constitutes a living memorial that preserves and honors the legacy of our grandparents through education, advocacy, and community-building.

Jonathan tells the story of his grandmother, Dina Jacobson, who was from Libuchora, Poland (now in Ukraine) and was taken to Auschwitz during the Holocaust. She was born in 1922 and was approximately 17 when the war started.

Jonathan Liss is a Managing Consultant with Lodgicka serving the largest owners and managers in the United States and globally with data and software optimization.  Jonathan received his B.A. in political science and religion from the University of Rochester. Jonathan and his wife and two children live in Gaithersburg, MD. Jonathan’s son (4th Grade) attends Fox Chapel and daughter (1st Grade) attends Thurgood Marshall Elementary Schools. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys travelling with his family, golf, reading, and watching his children dance, play baseball and bring both joy and chaos on a daily basis.
