Hesed Corps is an opportunity for 7th and 8th graders from the Ohr Kodesh community to come together for mitzvah and hesed (acts of kindness) projects and initiatives. These projects support the OKC community and social action projects throughout Montgomery County, MD. Hesed Corps meets on several Sundays during the year.

Hesed Corps: Home Set-Ups
Sunday, May 12; 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

We welcome our 7th and 8th grade students to join us for our final Hesed Corps of the year! This is an off-site volunteer trip with Homes Not Borders, where we will set up homes for refugees and asylum-seekers in the DC area. We will help move in furniture and household items, assemble furniture, make beds, wash dishes, hang pictures, etc.. Bring a water bottle and a bagged lunch. Ohr Kodesh will facilitate organizing of carpools among registrants to Landover following registration.
Please contact Sydney Spanier if you have other children, not in 7th or 8th grade, that would like to attend this event.
