Together we'll kick off new sustainability efforts at OKC and learn about ways to make our community more sustainable.

Friday, August 11 - Kabbalat Shabbat, Vegan Barbecue Dinner & Guest Speaker, Carrie Kisicki
Please join us for some soul - a spirited Minchah, Kabbalat Shabbat, and Ma’ariv followed by a vegan soul food dinner and a speaker.  Location: Social Hall (West)

Enjoy Shabbat dinner with the Ohr Kodesh community featuring plant-based, seasonal, and locally gown food. Over dessert we will hear from speaker Carrie Kisicki of Montgomery for All, which advocates for sustainable and inclusive land use, housing, and transit policy in Montgomery County.  Dinner Registration HERE. 
 
Shabbat, August 12 - CSA Kiddush (following services)
CSA Kiddush is back! Enjoy the tastes of the season at a kiddush luncheon prepared by Ohr Kodesh volunteer chefs using seasonal, local produce from Norman's Farm Market. Gazpacho, salads, and more!
