Last Installment of OKC Film Festival: Zero Motivation (אפס ביחסי אנוש)
Israel: 2014

The film revolves around a group of young female soldiers serving in the Israeli army's Human Resources department.at a military base located in the middle of the desert.

The story explores themes of identity, friendship, and the struggle for personal fulfillment within a rigid and hierarchical system.

Zero Motivation offers a darkly humorous portrayal of the military bureaucracy and the disillusionment experienced by the characters. It combines elements of comedy, drama, and satire to shed light on the absurdity of certain institutional systems and the impact they have on individuals.

Film critic Gidi Orsher said: "This is the story of thousands of transparent little women who fill the military offices and try to be part of a consensus, a way of life, to fulfill a national commitment. Women whose intentions are good but sometimes they encounter a reality that does not return a smile, or at least a tiny piece of human dignity".

The film premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival where it won two awards. It was nominated for twelve Ophir Awards and won six of them including the category for best writer/director Talya Lavie.
