Get ready to race into the ultimate summer adventure as we welcome your little medalists back to Summer Discovery! This summer promises to be a podium-worthy experience for everyone involved.
Theme: Summer Olympics!
Our camp will be hitting the ground running with the theme of the Summer Olympics. Together with the children, we'll power through learning about Olympic traditions and various sporting events, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for this global celebration of athleticism and community throughout the summer. Be on the lookout for “Olympics Days” in which the children will get some exposure and practice with some legendary sports
Outdoor and Nature Exploration
Gear up for an outdoor extravaganza! As avid fans of experiential learning, we're going to break a sweat spending ample time outdoors, surrounded by the lush beauty of nature. This hands-on approach will let the children connect with the environment, creating memories as unforgettable as a world record.
Water Play
Dive in (metaphorically) to this annual camp highlight. Slip 'n' slides, splash pads, sprinklers, and more! It’ll be buckets and buckets of fun to race around in the water together this summer.
Art Activities with Natural and Repurposed Materials
Prepare for a masterpiece! Our creative endeavors will be scoring perfect 10s as we tackle art activities using natural and repurposed materials. This not only encourages imagination but also teaches the children about the importance of being eco-champions, hitting sustainable practices out of the park.
Trike Days
Hold onto your handlebars! The return of Trike Days is gearing up to be a wheel-y exciting highlight for the children. This beloved camp tradition promotes gross motor skills, coordination, and, most importantly, a lot of fun as the children navigate our Olympic-sized parking lot on their trusty trikes, bikes, and scooters.
Sing-Alongs and Shabbat Sing-Along
Summer Discovery will be a melodic journey featuring weekly sing-alongs, such as the Monday Morning Pump-Up, 4th of July Jam Session, and, of course, Ta’am Shel Shabbat. These musical dance sessions will not only bring joy but also serve as a way to connect with our cultural roots.
Foam Party Returns
A truly remarkable experience involving tons of foam, fun, and frivolity as our playground patio will transform into a world of bubbles!
