Welcome to the Ohr Kodesh Salzberg Family Library

Our doors are always open!  Our main book collection consists of a mix of books dealing with many Jewish subjects including Talmud and Torah, prayer, haggadot, philosophy, religious practice, biography, modern Jewish life, cookbooks, ancient and modern Jewish history, Israel, DVDs and, of course, fiction.  The books in the Salzberg Library are mostly geared to our adult readers, but you can also find books of interest to our school age readers.

The children’s book collection for our youngest readers is housed in the Youth Lounge.

Checking out books and DVDs is easy:

  1.  Fill out the borrowers cards in the back of the book with your name, your phone number, and the date borrowed.
  2.  On Shabbat, you can borrow books by paper, clipping your membership card from the white and black box to the borrower card and leaving it on the desk.
  3.  If you are checking out a DVD, the borrower’s card is on the inside of the disc box.
  4.  Completed cards can be left in the card box on the desk in the library.

Books can be kept for three weeks.  The book return is found by the outside library door for quick and easy returns
