Welcome to the Ohr Kodesh Salzberg Family Library
Our doors are always open! Our main book collection consists of a mix of books dealing with many Jewish subjects including (but not limited to) Talmud and Torah, prayer, haggadot, philosophy, religious practice, biography, modern Jewish life, cookbooks, ancient and modern Jewish history, Israel, DVD’s and of course fiction. The books in the main library are mostly geared to our adult readers, but you can also find books of interest to our school age readers.
The children’s book collection for our youngest readers is housed in the Youth Lounge where there is an assortment of books on many topics of interest to the children.
Checking out books and DVD’s is easy:
- Fill out the borrowers cards in the back of the book with name, phone number and the date borrowed.
- On Shabbat, books can be borrowed by paper clipping your membership card from the white and black box to the borrower card and leave it on the desk.
- If you are checking out a DVD, the borrowers card can be found on the inside of the disc box.
- Completed cards can be left in the card box on the desk in the library.
Books can be kept for three weeks. The book return is found by the outside library door for quick and easy returns.
