"Enhancing Shabbat at Home" is a new program series exploring topics ranging from personal rituals to global observances of Shabbat. This new initiative is presented by the OKC Religious Activities Committee (RAC) and its subcommittee "Encouraging Home Observance." Join us for one or all of these events!

Monday July 19th: Teacher: Jill Moskowitz at Ohr Kodesh Weather permitting on the Back Patio
Songs of Shabbat- Zemirot & Niggunim: Why is singing at the Shabbat table such an important part of the day? Jill will share and teach a few of her favorite Shabbat melodies. We'll then have an opportunity to share our own favorite melodies and Shabbat musical traditions. 

Looking Ahead / Future Topics - Shabbat Food Customs: Shabbat food traditions from around the world? Would your grandparents recognize your Shabbat Table? Let's share our favorite food traditions and learn some new ones. 

Shabbat Movement & Spirituality: How can we integrate physical movement and body awareness into Shabbat prayer and home observance?

This program will take place at OKC on the Back Patio (Weather Permitting)
Masks are not required for those who are vaccinated. Although if children are in attendance, masks are preferred.
