The LGBTQ Inclusion Task Force is proud to announce Joy Ladin, Ph.D. will deliver the OKC Pride Month lecture on Sunday, June 6 at 7:15 PM on ZOOM.
Dr. Ladin is the author of The Soul of the Stranger: Reading God and Torah from a Transgender Perspective and Through the Door of Life: A Jewish Journey between Genders.
Dr. Ladin is a teacher, essayist, poet, and literary scholar. She holds the Gottesman Chair in English at Stern College for Women at Yeshiva University. She is a nationally recognized speaker on transgender issues and on gender and Jewish identity. Dr. Ladin has been featured on the NPR program On Being with Krista Tippet and gave a TedX talk entited Ain't I a Woman?
