Join Us for High Holiday Services

Ohr Kodesh is offering three options for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services: In-Person (Indoor and Outdoor locations) and Livestreaming, for those participating remotely.

To provide the most connected worship experience, OKC clergy will move between and participate in all services, throughout the High Holidays. We will try to accommodate everyone’s service choices and appreciate your flexibility, as we manage these new formats.

As always, the health and safety of our congregants is our highest priority and changes may need to be made depending on local conditions and policies. The OKC Health Committee is closely monitoring CDC Guidelines and MD and Montgomery County COVID 19 rates, and we will adjust High Holiday plans accordingly, if necessary.  OKC's COVID Guidelines for High Holidays are HERE.

Attending In-Person Services and Seat Assignments

Everyone who is registered for In-Person Services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur will receive an email with their High Holidays Confirmation & Entry Pass. A copy of this information is required for each person to gain entry to services. Print one copy per person and bring it with you to OKC to present when you arrive.

Each person will need to present their High Holidays Confirmation & Entry Pass, each day.

Seat Assignments: Main Sanctuary attendees will receive their specific seat assignments when they arrive. Those attending services in the Parking Lot will find appropriate seating in pre-arranged pods, set up by household-size.

Attending Services via Live Stream

For those most comfortable participating via Live Stream, all Ohr Kodesh Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services can be accessed remotely.

Instructions for setting up Live Stream for Shabbat and Jewish Holidays -  allowing viewing without violating Jewish Law - are HERE.
