Deliver a Meal

Ohr Kodesh volunteers deliver meals for Food & Friends to people with AIDS/HIV, cancer, and other illnesses.

Volunteers deliver meals and visit with 4 to 5 Food and Friends clients each Thursday. One or two people from our pool of volunteers make deliveries each week. Volunteers need to have availability during the day.

7th and 8th Grade Hesed Corps

Hesed Corps is an opportunity for 7th and 8th graders from the Ohr Kodesh community to come together for mitzvah and hesed (acts of kindness) projects and initiatives. These projects support the OKC community and social action projects throughout Montgomery County, MD. Hesed Corps. meets on several Sundays during the year.
