We invite you to join our Shlicha, Ori Edvi, for a monthly community gathering to watch and discuss Valley of Tears (She’at Neilah), an Israeli drama series from 2020 that vividly brings to life the early days of the Yom Kippur War that happened in 1973. We’ll meet once a month to watch two episodes, followed by a brief discussion. We’ll explore the historical context, character dynamics, and themes of courage, identity, and resilience that resonate throughout the series.

In our final meeting, we’ll get to listen to Yossie Hermoni, who was a soldier in the war, sharing his stories and experience.
