The days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are filled with fear. But as we cultivate this stance of trembling before God, we should ask: is this fear helpful or harmful? What is the correct place of fear in our lives? At the Hadar DC High Holiday Lecture, in partnership with Ohr Kodesh, we’ll get ready for the High Holiday season with meaningful Torah taught by Rabbi Avi Strausberg of Hadar.
Join us on Sunday, September 11 at 10:30 AM for breakfast and learning at Ohr Kodesh for this in-person kick-off of Hadar’s Project Zug.
Project Zug empowers Jews to take ownership over their learning through on-line classes and one-on-one havruta (study partner) learning, either online or in person. You may sign up to study with a hevruta, or Hadar will match you with a partner.
The program gives direct access to curated high quality Torah resources, and a guided learning framework that enables Jews to build deep connections to each other and to our tradition and allows Jews to learn on their own schedule with an accessible structure and guidance. https://www.hadar.org/project-zug
