The Jewish calendar is the circadian rhythm of Jewish life. From holidays to rituals and from the mundane to the sacred, our “luni-solar” approach to sanctification of time is core to our identities.
In this class, we’ll explore evolution of the calendar, how it works, and how it brings a deeper layer of meaning to daily practice, ritual, and even our ethical understandings of living as 21st century Jews.
Free and all are welcome. We will be in hybrid mode, both in person and via Zoom! Join us every week for a stimulating session designed with you in mind!
